I bought this battery so I wouldn't have to carry around my charger to school for the three hours of class I have. This battery works great and last longer than 3 hours of heavy typing and web searching.If you are standing, can last longer than 8 hours or more. The best thing is watching people who have a MAC having to carry around their chargers because their batteries won't last more than 3 hours..
